The final stage of the Interaction-2018 exercise was attended by members of the Coordination Meeting of the chairmen of defense and security committees (commissions) of the parliaments of the CSTO member states to the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Council, representatives of international and regional organizations, and military attaches.
In the shortest possible time, the military contingents of the CSTO member states were redeployed into the conditional zone of invasion of the militants. The main task of the CSTO CRRF group at the Edelweiss training ground is to conduct a joint operation to defeat illegal armed formations.
Conducting intelligence to detect the base areas for training militants and their movement routes was carried out with the help of unmanned aerial vehicles and the Su-24mr reconnaissance aircraft of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation.
During the exercise inflicted airstrikes. The Tu-95ms and Tu-22M3 long-range aircraft of the Russian Federation have demonstrated the possibility of delivering targeted powerful strikes against the identified base areas of the militants and their infrastructure
The Su-25 attack aircraft of the Republic of Kazakhstan and the Russian Federation and the bomber aviation — the Su-30sm of Kazakhstan and the Su-24m of Russia inflicted a fire attack on the advancing columns of illegal armed groups. After striking a dive with high-explosive fragmentation bombs with a caliber of 100 kg and unguided C-8 aircraft, part of the enemy forces was destroyed. The target was hit by the Russian drone Orlan-10.
The landing of a tactical airborne assault of five MI-8s allowed it to take a profitable frontier to prevent the “militants” from seizing the village. Two special purpose groups of the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Belarus carried out a landing on a halyard, two groups of the Russian Federation and two groups of the Kyrgyz Republic made a landing by landing. The actions of the paratroopers supported the combat guard, a howitzer artillery battery "Msta - B" of the Kyrgyz Republic.
In order to prevent the enemy’s reserves from approaching the village blocked by the CRRF CSTO, a tactical air assault force of the Russian Airborne Forces and Kazakhstan assault landing troops of Kazakhstan were parachuted from the Il-76 military transport aircraft.
It was decided to defeat the enemy. The group of militants and the command post of their field commanders were “dealt a blow” to the Iskander-M operational tactical missile complex on the identified area. Under the terms of the exercise, the launch was made electronically.
Thanks to the active and coordinated actions of the CSTO CRRF divisions, the enemy has been destroyed, the state border has been restored.
The maneuvers in the Kyrgyz Republic were carried out within the framework of a single plan of the operational-strategic exercise of the CSTO “Combat Brotherhood-2018”.
