On June 12, 2026, a conference entitled “Central Asia – the Core of the SCO: A Space of Peace and Shared Development” was held in Dushanbe under the auspices of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Tajikistan. Acting CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabayev took part in the event.

On June 10, 2026, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Kazan (Russian Federation) under the chairmanship of the Russian side, with the participation of CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov. CIS Deputy Secretary General Denis Trefilov and SCO Deputy Secretary General Oleg Kopylov were also invited to attend the meeting.

On June 9, 2026, a delegation of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, headed by CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov, took part in the 19th Meeting of Heads of Lead Counter-Terrorism Units of the Competent Authorities of the CIS Member States and Heads of National Structures Responsible for Coordinating Counter-Terrorism and Counter-Extremism Activities. The event was organized by the Anti-Terrorism Center of the CIS Member States.

A regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Kyrgyzstan 30.06.2025

On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.

The parties have discussed in detail the international and regional situation and its impact on the security of the CSTO member states.

The Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states adopted statements on issues related to international information security, countering radicalization leading to terrorism and extremism, the situation in the Middle East, as well as the establishment of the UN Regional Center for Sustainable Development Goals for Central Asia and Afghanistan.

In addition, issues of further cooperation between the Collective Security Treaty Organization and the Commonwealth of Independent States and the Shanghai Cooperation Organization were discussed.

The Foreign Ministers noted the successful implementation of the Action Plan for the celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Great Victory in the Great Patriotic War of 1941-1945, adopted by the CSTO Collective Security Council in November 2024.
