The CSTO has launched new official website 29.04.2022

For the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, the CSTO has launched a modernized official website https://odkb-csto.org/

The main purpose of the website modernization is to improve communication between the CSTO and the society. The organization is constantly improving its information resources to make it easier for users to access news about important CSTO events.

The CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas, giving the command to launch the renewed site, said that "our main Internet resource will allow to present information about the Organization's activities to users more fully and promptly, using, first of all, multimedia capabilities”. "We attach great importance to information support of the CSTO activities, which today is an integral part of the Organization's common system of collective security. In fact, the CSTO website today becomes a portal of the Organization, which will provide a full range of information on security issues for all CSTO member States. Once on the CSTO website, the user can easily go to the official Internet resources of the heads of state, the ministries of foreign affairs, ministries of defense, ministries of internal affairs, security services, the Ministry of Emergency Situations, and the main state news agencies of the CSTO member States. We hope that the new functionality of the updated site will speed up the posting of news on the site and make it easier for visitors to use it," Stanislav Zas noted.

In the course of modernization, in particular, a number of tasks were completed:

A new section dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty with an interactive map of the Organization's member States was created.

To facilitate access to the Organization's official social media accounts, links to them are located at the top of the main page of the site.

Reports on the progress and decisions of the sessions of the CSTO Collective Security Council, the Organization's supreme body, are in a separate section on the main page of the site.

The description of the documents adopted by the CSTO can now be read without going to the full text of the document itself.

Multimedia sections of the site have been created to present the necessary information in all visual formats.

All important videos highlighting the CSTO activities are collected in one place and have a more functional mechanism for viewing.

The slideshow interface of the photo gallery has become more user-friendly.

The site has an English-language version.

The changes allowed to optimize the main information resource of the Organization, making the interface intuitive for new users. The updated functionality provided additional opportunities for more complete and timely coverage of the CSTO activities.
