The Republic of Kazakhstan has discussed details of the "Indestructible Brotherhood-2024" command-staff training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces
27.06.2024From 25 to 27 June, the Republic of Kazakhstan hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of the "Indestructible Brotherhood-2024" command-staff training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces.
Representatives of the ministries and departments concerned from the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, a group of officers from the Joint Staff headed by Lieutenant General Ruslan Shpekbayev and members of the CSTO Secretariat took part in the event under the charge of Major General Almaz Dzhumakeev, Commander of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
In the course of staff talks, the concept of the training, the composition of the Joint Command and the national contingents allocated to the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces, the procedure for drawing up practical actions and issues relating to the organization of comprehensive support were considered and agreed upon.
The participants in the staff talks conducted a reconnaissance of the training area - the “Bereg” training range of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
Following the second staff talks, the heads of delegations signed the relevant protocol.
The “Indestructible Brotherhood-2024” command-staff training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces is planned to be held on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan at the final stage of a set of joint trainings conducted in the CSTO format. During the training it is planned to work out issues relating to the preparation and conduct of a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces.
