On November 28, 2024, Astana will host a joint meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers, the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils, as well as a session of the CSTO Collective Security Council.
The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Andrei Serdyukov will take part in the events.
The sides will exchange views on the military and political situation in the regions of collective security, discuss the results of cooperation within the CSTO and prospects for further development of the collective security system. Special attention will be paid to preparations for the joint celebration of the 80th anniversary of the Victory in the Great Patriotic War.
It is planned that the Kyrgyz Republic will inform on the priorities of its chairmanship in the Organization in 2025.
