On March 25, 2025, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Sh.J.Faizullozoda, the meeting of representatives of the customer-coordinator and state national customers of the Policy, as well as interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states and the Secretariat of the Organization on the implementation of the first phase of the Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border was held.
A meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Almaty

On June 21, 2024, in Almaty, a meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held under the chairmanship of the Kazakh side. The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov made a report on the state of the international and regional situation and its impact on the security of the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The meeting participants held a detailed discussion of a wide range of international issues with a focus on the problem of ensuring peace and stability in the CSTO collective security regions.
Based on the results of the meeting, the draft decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council "On the CSTO Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border", previously approved by the Council of Defense Ministers and the Committee of Secretaries of the CSTO Security Councils, was agreed upon.
