On 22 June 2024, in Almaty, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov at a meeting with members of the Permanent Council of the Organization summarized the results of the past meetings of the Council of Ministers of Defense, the Council of the Parliamentary Assembly, the Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils and the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers.
The importance of the documents adopted during the meetings, including the draft Decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council "On the CSTO Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border" and the statements of parliamentarians and foreign ministers from the point of view of ensuring collective security was stressed.
