Participants in the “Indestructible Brotherhood-2024” command-staff training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces are heading to the Republic of Kazakhstan 26.09.2024

From 26 to 30 September, formations participating in the command-staff training “Indestructible Brotherhood-2024” with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces are regrouping in the Republic of Kazakhstan.

Contingents of CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) are being sent from the Republic of Belarus, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan to the training area in accordance with the plan.

It should be recalled that the priorities identified by Kazakhstan, which is chairing the Organization in 2024, are to improve the issues of ensuring the operational deployment of Troops (Collective Forces), including the unimpeded transit of contingents, as well as the development of the CSTO peacekeeping potential.

Major General Almaz Dzhumakeev, commander of the Airborne Assault Troops of the Armed Forces of the Republic of Kazakhstan, is conducting a command-staff training with the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces “Indestructible Brotherhood-2024” at the “Bereg” training ground, during which issues related to the preparation and conduct of a peacekeeping operation by the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces will be practiced.

Peacekeeping contingents of CSTO member states are specially trained military, police and civilian personnel, as well as forces and means allocated by the Organization's member states to the CSTO Peacekeeping Forces. For each peacekeeping operation, the composition, structure and strength of the Collective Peacekeeping Forces are determined by a decision of the CSTO Collective Security Council on the basis of the scope of the tasks to be accomplished and the specific situation in the conflict zone.
