On 3-5 June, the Republic of Belarus hosted the second staff talks on the organization and conduct of the joint trainings with the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CRRF) “Interaction-2025”, special trainings with intelligence forces and means “Search-2025” and logistics “Echelon-2025” conducted as part of the joint operational-strategic training “Combat Brotherhood-2025”.

On 27-30 May, in the city of St. Petersburg, on the basis of the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy, a training and methodological meeting was held with the heads of the CSTO basic training and research organizations to coordinate joint training of military personnel and scientific work.
On 28 May 2025 in Bishkek, Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov received the participants of the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Organization, held with the participation of CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov.

On February 22, 2023, representatives of the CSTO Secretariat met with Victor Stoyunda, an expert of the UN Security Council Sanctions Committees Monitoring Group on ISIL and “Al-Qaida” and the Taliban movement, who is on a working visit to Moscow.
We had a detailed exchange of views on the situation in Afghanistan, during which V. Stoyunda presented current assessments of contemporary threats of a terrorist nature emanating from Afghan territory.
In turn, representatives of the Secretariat of the Organization informed the interlocutor about the main content of the discussion that took place during the meeting of the Working Group on Afghanistan at the CSTO Ministerial Council on December 8, 2022.
The sides have agreed to continue regular contacts to exchange information on developments in the situation in Afghanistan.
