The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with Ularbek Sharsheev, Director of the Executive Committee of the Regional Anti-Terrorist Structure of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, at the Secretariat of the Organization. During the meeting a number of important issues affecting the joint activities of the organizations were discussed.
In particular, the issues of combating terrorism and other manifestations of extremism at the national, regional and global levels were raised.
The parties agreed to continue active cooperation in combating terrorism and extremism, and financing of terrorism.
Strengthening interaction and coordination between the SCO EC RATS and the CSTO Secretariat will contribute to ensuring stability in our regions.
