The Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization took the news of the tragic events in Makhachkala and Derbent with a sense of deep pain.
Allow me to express to you and the multinational people of the Republic of Dagestan our deepest condolences on the deaths of police officers and civilians. The Organization grieves together with the entire Dagestani people and shares the grief of irreparable loss. We strongly condemn the actions of terrorists and any attempts to incite interreligious discord.
I wish fortitude and self-control to you and the people of Dagestan in these sorrowful days, and speedy recovery to all the injured.
