According to the assessment of CSTO Secretary General Stanislav ZAS, the military and political situation in the world today remains complicated and continues to develop under the influence of negative factors, the main of which are the clash of interests of the leading states in different regions of the world and the activities of military and political alliances to expand their own spheres of influence

The CSTO Permanent Council agreed on important political statements


On January 22, this year, under the chairmanship of the Permanent Representative of the Republic of Tajikistan Hasan Sultonov, a meeting of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held via videoconferencing.

They agreed on draft statements of the CSTO member states on the prohibition of the development and production of new types of weapons of mass destruction and new systems of such weapons, as well as on ensuring comprehensive stability in the world. The documents will be sent for further consideration and adoption at the level of permanent representatives of the member states of the Organization to the UN.
