On 22 April 2024, the CSTO Secretariat hosted a working meeting between the Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, Samat Ordabaev, and the Special Representative of the UN Secretary General for Central Asia, Head of the UN Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia (UNRCCA), Kakha Imnadze.
From 22 to 26 April, this year, the CSTO Secretariat is holding an annual training meeting for representatives of ministries and departments of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states without military status.
The meeting was held in the city of Moscow under the chairmanship of Viktor Zinoviev, Secretary of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation (ICMEC, Commission).

On February 9, 2022, the CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas will take part in the Conference "Collective Security in a New Era: the CSTO Experience and Prospects”. The event will be held at the “Valdai” International Discussion Club with the support of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
Armen Ghevondian, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Armenia; Sergey Aleinik, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Belarus; Marat Syzdykov, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Kazakhstan; Nuran Niyazaliyev, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Kyrgyz Republic; Alexander Pankin, the Russian Deputy Foreign Minister; and Sodik Imomi, the Deputy Foreign Minister of the Republic of Tajikistan are expected to take part in the event.
Within the framework of the thematic sections "The CSTO tasks in conditions of growing international tensions: a view from capitals" and "Crisis lessons and Eurasian security" there will be discussions on topical issues with leading political scientists, specialists in international security and journalists from Central Asia, China and Russia.
The CSTO Secretary General will address the media at the end of the plenary session.
