On December 4, at the invitation of the Iranian side, a delegation from the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, led by Chief of the Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov, took part in the final stage of joint anti-terrorism trainings conducted by the competent authorities of the member states of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization “Sahand-Anti-Terror 2025” in the Islamic Republic of Iran.
The CSTO Secretary General had a meeting with the Belarusian Ambassador to Russia

On January 15 this year, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with Ambassador of the Republic of Belarus to Russia Alexander Rogozhnik.
The sides have discussed the current military and political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility. They paid special attention to the progress in implementing the decisions of the November session (2024) of the CSTO Collective Security Council. They considered the issues of promoting Belarusian initiatives to develop CSTO strategic conceptual documents.
Alexander Rogozhnik and Imangali Tasmagambetov reiterated the need to further improve the training of the CSTO Collective Forces, close cooperation of special bodies and services of the CSTO member states in order to counter emerging challenges and threats.
