Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.

On December 19, 2022, at 1:30 p.m., the Collective Security Treaty Organization Secretary General Stanislav ZAS held a press conference at the International Multimedia Press Center of the "Russia - Today" Agency (Presidential Hall) in the format of video conference with connection of media centers in capitals of CSTO member states.
S.Zas has informed about the results of the CSTO activities in 2022 and the results of the regular session of the CSTO Collective Security Council in Yerevan. The Secretary General also spoke about the main tasks and priorities facing the CSTO in 2023 during the presidency of the Republic of Belarus in the CSTO and the political steps being taken and improvement of the CSTO military potential.
