On 13 February, a traditional meeting was held in Moscow between the Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Russian Federation Sergey Lavrov and the chairs of the parliamentary committees (commissions) of the CSTO member states responsible for international relations, defense and security. On 12 February, a briefing was held at the CSTO Crisis Response Center by Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrey Nikolaevich Serdyukov on the topic “Results of the joint training of command and control bodies and forces of the CSTO collective security system in 2025 and tasks for 2026.”
Consultations of the Deputy Secretaries General of the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO took place in the CSTO Secretariat
On February 17, 2025, in Moscow, at the CSTO Secretariat, during consultations at the level of the Deputy Secretaries General of the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO, a thorough exchange of views on the prospects for the development of trilateral cooperation took place.
The participants in the consultations have outlined approaches to further developing cooperation for interaction in the security, economic and humanitarian spheres to serve the harmonization of relations between development centers in Eurasia.
The deputies of the highest administrative officials of the three Eurasian organizations discussed the possibility of preparing a document containing a list of the next practical steps to implement these approaches.
