On May 19, 2025 in Bishkek, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was held, during which the Secretary General of the Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov made a report on the theme: “On the implementation of decisions (November 2024) session of the CSTO SCS and measures taken to counter challenges and threats to collective security”.
On May 12, 2025, in Moscow, in the Red Banner Hall of the Frunze Central House of the Russian Army, a solemn event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty (May 15, 1992) was held.
Delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization will take part in the 13th international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues.
On May 13, 2025, the 41st meeting of the Working Group on Afghanistan under the CSTO Ministerial Council was held with the participation of CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabaev. The event was also attended by delegations of the Organization's member states and representatives of the UNOCT, the UNRCCA, the CIS ATC, the CIS Coordination Service of the CIS Council of Commanders of Border Troops and the ICRC.
The CSTO Secretariat hosted consultations of the heads of press services (information units) of the foreign ministries of CSTO member states

On 13 December 2023, the CSTO Secretariat held regular consultations of the heads of press services (information units) of the Ministries of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states on "Practical areas of cooperation between the press services of the Foreign Ministries of the CSTO member states". Representatives of the Secretariat and servicemen of the Organization's Joint Staff took part in the event.
The participants in the consultations have discussed in detail questions relating to the promotion of objective and complete information on the CSTO's activities and considered methods of jointly countering the dissemination of information distorting the essence and objectives of its work. It was deemed advisable to pay particular attention to the prompt exchange of up-to-date information and analytical materials.
There was an interested exchange of views on the most effective forms and methods of information activities on the Internet.
Issues relating to the establishment of a joint CSTO press center during various events, including joint trainings, were discussed.
