The 23rd meeting of the Military Committee on military cooperation development among the CSTO member states under the supervision of the Chairman of the Military Committee, Chief of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation - First Deputy Minister of Defense of the Russian Federation, Army General Valery Gerasimov, took place today via videoconferencing.

From April 8 to 11, 2024, the XXI International Seminar-Meeting on Combined Martial Arts with the heads of combat and physical training of the security ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states took place at the Park Hotel "Horizon", Odintsovo District, Moscow Region.

The event was addressed by Gennady Troislit, the Deputy Head of the Organizational and Planning Department of the CSTO Secretariat, and Oleg Ufimtsev, the President of the Russian Federation of Combined Martial Arts.

A meeting of the working group under the CSTO Council of Defense Ministers on coordinating the joint training of military personnel and scientific work was held at the CSTO Joint Staff via videoconferencing 09.12.2020

On December 9, 2020, a meeting of the working group under the Council of Defense Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on coordinating the joint training of military personnel and scientific work was held at the CSTO Joint Staff via videoconferencing. The organizational and technical capabilities of the Crisis Response Center were used.
The meeting was chaired by Major General Igor Muravlyannikov, Chief of the Working Group, Head of the Military Education Office - Deputy Chief of the Central Office for Personnel of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation. The heads of the military education authorities of defense departments, basic educational and methodological and research organizations of the CSTO member states took part in the meeting.
Acting Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Khasan Kaloyev, noted the importance of the work carried out by the basic educational, methodological and research organizations in the interests of developing the military component of the CSTO. To date, nine military educational institutions of the Organization's member states have been given the status of basic educational and methodological organizations of the CSTO. Six specialized research organizations and military educational institutions of the Ministry of Defense of the Russian Federation have been given the status of basic research organizations of the CSTO, which carry out work in the field of research on the problems of air defense, Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics, military-technical cooperation, as well as the development and use of the aerial component CSTO. The Joint Staff, together with the Russian Ministry of Defense, also organized work to give the status of a basic educational, methodological and research organization to the S.M. Kirov Military Medical Academy (St. Petersburg).
Major General Oleg Yegorov, Deputy Chief of the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy, presented information on the activities of the Mikhailovsky Military Artillery Academy as the basic educational and methodological organization of the CSTO.
The meeting participants paid special attention to the discussion of the development of a Plan for the development of a system of joint training of military personnel for the armed forces of the CSTO member states for the period until 2025.
In the course of the event, it was possible to discuss topical issues of joint training of military personnel and scientific work in the CSTO system. The next meeting is planned to be held on the territory of the Republic of Tajikistan, which chairs the CSTO in 2021.
