The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

Moscow hosted consultations by CSTO member states on topical issues of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation 04.03.2020

On March 4, 2020, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation, consultations were held among the CSTO member states on topical issues of arms control and disarmament, in which delegations of the CSTO member states, CSTO Deputy Secretary General A.A.Sultanov and CSTO Secretariat staff took part .

A productive and thorough discussion of current issues and prospects for the development of the situation in the field of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation took place. The participants compared approaches to specific aspects of the reduction and limitation of nuclear missiles, compliance with and strengthening existing international treaties and agreements in the field of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation.

The readiness of the CSTO member states to continue collective efforts to build an international system of reliable, equal and indivisible security for all, restore confidence and mutual respect in interstate relations, as well as to further reconcile and coordinate their positions on issues of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation in the interests of lasting peace and strengthen international security.
