From 25 to 27 July, the CSTO Joint Staff hosted a working meeting of the heads of defense communication management bodies of the CSTO member states.
On 13 July, Minsk hosted the 2nd meeting of the Coordination Council of authorized bodies of the CSTO member States on biological security issues. The Council meeting was attended by representatives of all CSTO member states.

The fourth meeting of the Interstate Working Group on measures to create a unified system of technical coverage of railroads of the CSTO member states took place on June 22-23, 2023, in Astana. Representatives of the interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states, which are responsible for the state regulation of the technical coverage of railroads, as well as the CSTO Secretariat and the CSTO Joint Staff took part in the meeting. During the meeting, the participants discussed the course of measures to establish a unified system of technical coverage of railroads of the CSTO member states and urgent issues concerning the organization of technical coverage of sections and facilities of national railroads in modern conditions. The meeting participants paid particular attention to increasing the effectiveness of interaction between the authorized bodies of the CSTO member states in organizing technical coverage of railroads of the CSTO member states.
