On 6 March 2024, in Astana, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with Chairman of the Majilis of the Parliament of the Republic of Kazakhstan Yerlan Koshanov.

The interlocutors exchanged views on a wide range of topical issues related to improving the collective security system and expanding cooperation in the CSTO format.

Much attention was paid to the activities of the Parliamentary Assembly within the framework of Kazakhstan's presidency in the Organization, planned for the current year.
