On March 25, 2025, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Sh.J.Faizullozoda, the meeting of representatives of the customer-coordinator and state national customers of the Policy, as well as interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states and the Secretariat of the Organization on the implementation of the first phase of the Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border was held.

On February 13, 2025, in Bishkek, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with the Kyrgyz Defense Minister Baktybek Bekbolotov.
A thorough exchange of views was held on the situation in the Organization's area of responsibility and along its perimeter. The interlocutors have discussed preparations for the joint training activities planned for this year, including the “Rubezh-2025” command post training with the CAR Collective Rapid Deployment Forces scheduled for September and the operational meeting with the CAR CRDF Command as part of the “Combat Brotherhood-2025” training.
Particular attention was paid to the work on the harmonization of the draft Plan for the Development of Military Cooperation of the CSTO member states for 2026-2030.
