In Kazakhstan, a joint command-staff training with the CSTO Collective Peacekeeping Forces (CPF) began practicing combat training tasks at checkpoints, roadblocks and refugee reception points, escorting convoys and cargoes, and providing humanitarian assistance. On the eve of the training, Major General Almaz Dzhumakeyev, head of the training, presented the commander of the CPF with a mandate to prepare and conduct a peacekeeping operation.

This meeting occurs annually on the margins of the UN General Assembly.

A working meeting of the Foreign Ministers of the CSTO member states was held

On September 27, a traditional working meeting of the CSTO member states' foreign ministers was held in New York. The heads of the diplomatic departments of the Union states exchanged views on the issues of the agenda of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly and other pressing issues of mutual interest.

A joint statement was adopted in connection with the 80th anniversary of the outbreak of World War II. In this statement, the ministers called for support for the resolution of the 74th session of the UN General Assembly “Combating the glorification of Nazism, neo-Nazism and other practices that contribute to the escalation of modern forms of racism, racial discrimination, xenophobia and related intolerance”, including the proposal to recognize the Victory over Nazism in World War II, the world heritage of mankind, and monuments to the fighters against Nazism in all countries - a world memorial to mankind.

The working meeting was attended by the CSTO Acting Secretary General Valery Semerikov. He informed the ministers about the preparations for the meetings of the statutory bodies and the session of the CSTO Collective Security Council, to be held at the end of November this year. in the city of Bishkek.
