On 24 April 2024, in Moscow, at the CSTO Secretariat consultations of the CSTO member states under the chairmanship of the Republic of Kazakhstan on the theme: "On topical issues of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation" took place.

From 1 to 23 April 2024, the Military Academy of the General Staff of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation hosted the regular IX Training Courses of the CSTO member states for senior staff and leading specialists of defense departments, law enforcement agencies, security council apparatuses, security agencies and special services, as well as bodies authorized to prevent and eliminate emergency situations.


The CSTO Permanent Council has considered the Plan of implementation of decisions of the session of the Collective Security Council

On December 15, a meeting of the Permanent Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, under the chairmanship of Alexander Grinevich, Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representative of the Republic of Belarus to the CSTO, took place. The CSTO Secretary General Stanislav Zas participated in the meeting.

A draft Plan of measures to implement decisions of the November (2022) session of the CSTO Collective Security Council during the presidency of the Republic of Belarus was discussed.

The Permanent Council also considered a draft CSTO CSC Decision "On the Plan of Main Measures to Develop Cooperation and Integration of Enterprises and Organizations of Defense Industry (Military-Industrial) Complexes of Collective Security Treaty Organization Member States until 2030" and several documents related to the interstate system of cataloguing supplies of the armed forces of the CSTO member states.

It has been decided to send the above draft documents to the CSTO member states for internal approval.
