From 25 to 27 July, the CSTO Joint Staff hosted a working meeting of the heads of defense communication management bodies of the CSTO member states.
On 13 July, Minsk hosted the 2nd meeting of the Coordination Council of authorized bodies of the CSTO member States on biological security issues. The Council meeting was attended by representatives of all CSTO member states.
The Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov took part in the 23 Plenary Meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization, which was chaired by Indian Prime Minister Narendra Modi, on July 4, 2023, via videoconferencing.
On the invitation of the Prime Minister of the Republic of India, the Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization I. Tasmagambetov will participate in the 23rd plenary meeting of the Shanghai Cooperation Organization member states Council on July 4, 2023, which will be held via videoconferencing.
The Kyrgyz Defense Minister had a meeting with the CSTO Secretary General

Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov and the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met at the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic on March 10, 2023.
At the beginning of the meeting Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov congratulated Imangali Tasmagambetov on his appointment to the responsible position of the CSTO Secretary General and wished him further success and fruitful work.
The sides also discussed regional and international security issues, current issues and prospects for the development of the military component of the CSTO. The Defense Minister noted that the Defense Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic expressed its readiness to implement the outlined plans and further cooperation.
At the end of the meeting, Lieutenant General Baktybek Bekbolotov wished the Secretary General great success, good health and prosperity.
