The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.

Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.


The MSLU and the CSTO expand cooperation in education

The MSLU and the CSTO expand cooperation in education 23.04.2025

On April 22, during a meeting between the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and the MSLU Rector Irina Kraeva, the CSTO Secretariat and the Moscow State Linguistic University signed a memorandum of cooperation. The document provides for the implementation of educational and scientific projects.

In the course of the conversation with the participation of the CSTO Deputy Secretary General Valery Semerikov and the MSLU Rectorate the issues of cooperation development in the educational and scientific spheres in the interests of the CSTO member states were discussed, the interest in participation in the information security events held within the framework of the Organization was outlined.
