On August 17–19, at the invitation of Colonel General Alexander Manilov, Chairman of the Coordination Service of the Council of Border Troops Commanders of the CIS, a delegation of the CSTO Joint Staff headed by Colonel General Andrey Serdyukov took part in international events held in the area of responsibility of the Border Directorate of the Russian Federal Security Service for St. Petersburg and the Leningrad Region.

On August 14, consultations were held via videoconference at the CSTO Joint Staff with representatives of relevant ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states on organizing joint training activities for command and control bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security system in 2027.

The XIV meeting of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Consultation Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response was held

On November 14, 2022, in Moscow in the building of the CSTO Secretariat, the XIV meeting of the Council of the Collective Security Treaty Organization Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response (CSTO CCC) was held. The delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for computer incident response of the CSTO member states took part in the meeting.

The meeting was opened and addressed by the Chairman of the CSTO CCC Council. His report on the activities of the CSTO CCC in 2022 noted an increase in the volume and quality of joint measures taken to respond to computer incidents as an important component of ensuring the security of the information space of the CSTO member states.

In the course of the meeting, the CSTO CCM Council members discussed topical issues related to the results of the CSTO CCC Contact Point experts' training on computer security. They shared their positive experience in protecting national critical information infrastructure facilities from cyber threats, information on computer incidents in the information spaces of the CSTO member states, and information and analytical materials provided by the national points of contact.
