The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.
On June 19, 2025, in Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic, the XIX meeting of the Council of the Advisory Coordination Center of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on Computer Incident Response (CSTO CCC) was held, which was attended by delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for responding to computer incidents of the CSTO member states.
The CSTO Acting Secretary General Valery Semerikov took part in the opening of the IX International Exhibition MILEX-2019 in the Republic of Belarus, which took place on May 15, 2019 in the historical and cultural complex "Stalin's Line" near Minsk

As President of Belarus Alexander Lukashenko noted in his greeting to participants and guests of MILEX-2019: “I am convinced that the exhibition will contribute to the further exchange of experience, will launch joint projects of tomorrow, backing them up with lucrative contracts.”
The second part of the opening ceremony was held in the largest sports complex of Belarus "Minsk-Arena", wh ere an impressive exhibition of the latest developments in the field of the military industry was located.
The MILEX-2019 exhibition has confirmed that the demand for this unique exhibition and forum event in the CSTO space is only growing. Both by quantitative and qualitative criteria, there is a steady positive dynamic, including as a significant international platform. In general, the exhibition MILEX-2019 is aimed at demonstrating the latest achievements in the development and modernization of weapons and military equipment, in addition, the exhibition creates favorable conditions for the development of military-technical cooperation, promotes the expansion of production and scientific and technical cooperation ties and business contacts, and concludes treaties, promotion of weapons, military and special equipment to foreign markets.
The MILEX-2019 is one of the most promising and significant exhibitions held in Belarus with a reputation as a serious international salon. This year, the exhibition area is more than 24,000 square meters, located in a modern comfortable complex in Minsk.
