All this finds a lively response from our peoples, helps to develop states, economies, the social sphere and reliably to ensure common security," the head of the Russian Foreign Ministry said.
Sergei Lavrov highlighted the tasks facing everyone in connection with attempts to falsify the history of the Second World War and the Great Patriotic War. "The International Association (Commission) of Historians and Archivists of the CIS countries has been formed, which will deal with countering such attempts. In Europe and closer to our borders, we are seeing campaigns aimed at completely rewriting history, canceling the feat of our fathers, grandfathers, great-grandfathers.
