On March 25, 2025, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Sh.J.Faizullozoda, the meeting of representatives of the customer-coordinator and state national customers of the Policy, as well as interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states and the Secretariat of the Organization on the implementation of the first phase of the Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border was held.

On behalf of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and on my own behalf, I express our deep condolences for the tragic loss of life as a result of avalanches in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of the Republic of Tajikistan on 15 February 2023. We are deeply saddened by the news of the deaths of the Tajik people. We share with the families, relatives and friends of the victims the sorrow of their irreparable loss.
