From 25 to 27 July, the CSTO Joint Staff hosted a working meeting of the heads of defense communication management bodies of the CSTO member states.
On 13 July, Minsk hosted the 2nd meeting of the Coordination Council of authorized bodies of the CSTO member States on biological security issues. The Council meeting was attended by representatives of all CSTO member states.

On behalf of the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and on my own behalf, I express our deep condolences for the tragic loss of life as a result of avalanches in the Gorno-Badakhshan region of the Republic of Tajikistan on 15 February 2023. We are deeply saddened by the news of the deaths of the Tajik people. We share with the families, relatives and friends of the victims the sorrow of their irreparable loss. Please convey our sincere sympathies and wish a speedy recovery to all the victims.
