On March 25, 2025, in Moscow, under the chairmanship of the Deputy Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Tajikistan Sh.J.Faizullozoda, the meeting of representatives of the customer-coordinator and state national customers of the Policy, as well as interested ministries and departments of the CSTO member states and the Secretariat of the Organization on the implementation of the first phase of the Special Interstate Policy for strengthening sections of the Tajik-Afghan Border was held.

The CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov took part in the debate on “UN cooperation with regional organizations: the CSTO, the CIS and the SCO” held on 19 July 2024 at the UN Security Council.
It was emphasized that against the backdrop of increasing geopolitical turbulence, the importance of regional integration structures for ensuring security and stability, mutually beneficial and equitable international cooperation throughout the world is steadily growing.
Mr. Imangali Tasmagambetov has informed about the CSTO's consistent efforts to ensure security in a large part of the Eurasian continent and noted the CSTO's openness to joint actions to form a Eurasian security architecture. He presented a vision of ways and means to further strengthen the CSTO's interaction with the UN specialized structures on the basis of universally recognized norms and principles of international law.
