Special Forces formations from the CSTO СRRF take part in the "Interaction-2022" training

The active phase of the CSTO "Interaction-2022" command-staff training began at the Center for Combat and Methodological Training of Special Forces of the National Guard of the Republic of Kazakhstan (Almaty Region), in which contingents from the Special Forces formations from the CSTO СRRF are taking part.
The theme of this training is "Preparation and conduct of a joint operation to localize an armed conflict in the Central Asian region of collective security”.
Units from the CSTO member States - the Republic of Belarus, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and the Republic of Tajikistan assigned to the CRRF formations of special forces are participating in the training. The main purpose is to increase the level of field training and coherence of the activities of formations of forces and means of the collective security system, to develop and master new forms, ways of carrying out tasks according to their mission, as well as modern models of weapons, military and special equipment, special means.
The head of the training, Deputy Commander of the National Guard, Major General Baurzhan Abzhanov, noted at the opening ceremony that “Interaction-2022” was aimed at improving the practical skills of command and control officials in commanding groups of forces (Collective Forces) of the CSTO, and improving the coordination of forces and means of the collective security system in joint operations to ensure military security in the Central Asian region and neutralize external threats.
- Our joint trainings are taking place at a difficult time. Unfortunately, the world today is confronted on a daily basis with modern challenges that pose a real threat to civilians and society. All this requires from the CSTO member states coordinated and collective measures to ensure the security of our countries and the region as a whole.
I would like to note that the choice of the venue for the training is not accidental. Our Center for Combat and Methodological Training of Special Purpose, which was opened in 2016, has all the conditions, and we have sufficient experience to conduct such trainings," Baurzhan Sadykovich noted in his speech.
Since the establishment of the Center, five large-scale events have been held, including two of an international nature (the international training within the CSTO "Cobalt-2018” and the second meeting of the CIS interior ministers in 2020). Three of them are of republican level (operational-tactical trainings "Kaisar-2016", "Kaisar-2021", "Alan-2022").
Active phase of training takes place on October 3-7, during which the headquarters will work out algorithms of decisions when performing a set of tasks of a single group of forces against the background of the created and developing situation, which will allow to achieve coordinated action of military authorities in the organization of joint operation.
