On July 4, 2025, a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat visited the Central Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot".
The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.
The Collective Security Treaty is 30 years old. The CSTO is 20!

Today marks the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the creation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The Collective Security Treaty (CST) was signed on May 15, 1992, in Tashkent. On May 14, 2002, at the session of the Collective Security Council in Moscow it was decided to reorganize the mechanisms and cooperation structures of the CST member States into an international regional organization - the “Collective Security Treaty Organization” with relevant status. On September 18, 2003, the CSTO Charter entered into force.
The members of the Collective Security Treaty Organization are: the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation and the Republic of Tajikistan.
According to the Plan of events dedicated to the 30th anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty and the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization and approved by the decision of the Collective Security Council, information campaign under the motto " CSTO. 30 Years - Together We are Strong!" is being held in all the CSTO member States from May 1 to May 30, 2022.
Anniversary banners placed on billboards and cityboards can be seen on the streets of the capitals of CSTO member States, as well as in Almaty and St. Petersburg. Information videos are also broadcast on online monitors in cars and subway stations in Minsk, Almaty, Moscow, St. Petersburg, and at airports in Minsk, Moscow (Vnukovo, Terminal A, Domodedovo, Sheremetyevo) and St. Petersburg (Pulkovo).
On Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow there is a photo exhibition "CSTO. 30 Years - Together We are Strong" was opened on Tverskoy Boulevard in Moscow. From May 16 to 30, 2022, its exposition will continue on 12 Gogolevsky Boulevard
Another thematic exhibition, prepared by the MIA "Rossia-Today" for the CSTO anniversary, can be seen in Moscow on Zubovsky Boulevard, 4, from May 14 to 30, 2022.
