On 28 May 2025 in Bishkek, Chairman of the CSTO Collective Security Council, President of the Kyrgyz Republic Sadyr Japarov received the participants of the meeting of the Council of Defense Ministers of the Organization, held with the participation of CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov and Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff Colonel General Andrei Serdyukov.

Following an official invitation from the Technical Secretariat of the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons, representatives of the CSTO Secretariat participated in observer status in the video broadcast of the second part of the 25th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons (April 20-22, 2021, The Hague, Netherlands).

A Joint Statement of the Collective Security Treaty Organization member states was distributed as an official document of the second part of the 25th session of the Conference of the States Parties to the Convention on the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons. The text of the Statement is published on the external server and on the Organization for the Prohibition of Chemical Weapons public website.
