On May 19, 2025 in Bishkek, under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, a meeting of the Council of the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly was held, during which the Secretary General of the Organization Imangali Tasmagambetov made a report on the theme: “On the implementation of decisions (November 2024) session of the CSTO SCS and measures taken to counter challenges and threats to collective security”.
On May 12, 2025, in Moscow, in the Red Banner Hall of the Frunze Central House of the Russian Army, a solemn event dedicated to the 33rd anniversary of the signing of the Collective Security Treaty (May 15, 1992) was held.
Delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by the Deputy Secretary General of the Organization will take part in the 13th international meeting of high representatives in charge of security issues.
On May 13, 2025, the 41st meeting of the Working Group on Afghanistan under the CSTO Ministerial Council was held with the participation of CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabaev. The event was also attended by delegations of the Organization's member states and representatives of the UNOCT, the UNRCCA, the CIS ATC, the CIS Coordination Service of the CIS Council of Commanders of Border Troops and the ICRC.

On February 14, 2023 at 10:00 (Moscow time), the CSTO Crisis Response Center (Moscow) will host a press conference of Colonel General Anatoly A. Sidorov, the Chief of the Joint Staff of the Collective Security Treaty Organization. The theme of the press conference is "The results of joint training of command bodies and formations of the CSTO collective security forces and means in 2022 and tasks for 2023".
At the event, the head of the CSTO Joint Staff will assess the military and political situation in the area of responsibility of the Organization, will talk about the main results of the activities of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) in 2022 and about the range of activities planned in the framework of joint operational and combat training in 2023.
Representatives of press services of defense agencies and accredited mass media of the CSTO member states (Yerevan, Minsk, Astana, Bishkek and Dushanbe) will take part in the event via videoconferencing.
