The CSTO Permanent Council reviewed proposals for the development of a targeted program to strengthen the Tajik-Afghan border.

At the Permanent Council of the CSTO, the Russian side provided information on the violation by Ukraine of the rules of peaceful passage in the territorial sea of the Russian Federation

The CSTO Permanent Council is a body responsible for coordinating interaction among the member states in the implementation of decisions adopted by the Organization’s bodies in the period between sessions of the Council.

The Permanent Council is composed of Permanent and Plenipotentiary Representatives appointed by the member states in accordance with their domestic procedures and operates in accordance with the Regulations approved by the Council.
