On 17 April 2026, the 17th meeting of the Working Group under the CSTO Committee of Secretaries of Security Councils on information security was held in Moscow, with the participation of delegations of representatives of national coordinating and competent authorities on information security, as well as experts and specialists from relevant national structures and agencies of the Organization’s member states.

On 16 April 2026, the 21st meeting of the Council of the CSTO Consultative Coordination Center for Computer Incident Response (CCC CSTO) was held in Moscow, with the participation of delegations of representatives of national competent authorities for computer incident response of the Organization’s member states, as well as a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat headed by Umarzoda Umar Safar, Head of the Countering Challenges and Threats Department of the CSTO Secretariat.

The active phase of the “Rock-2023” special training of the rescue units of the CSTO member states has been completed 05.09.2023

The Belarusian rescuers together with their colleagues from the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia and the Republic of Tajikistan took part in the demonstration part of the special training of the Collective Security Treaty Organization rescue units "Rock-2023".

The participants practiced various emergency scenarios and carried out a range of rescue activities, including:

  • carrying out radiation reconnaissance of the area;

  • elimination of accidents involving ionizing radiation sources on road, railway and air transport;

  • carrying out rescue operations in areas of destruction of building structures and at height.

In total, over 382 people and 94 pieces of equipment were involved in the demonstration.

Valery Semerikov, the CSTO Deputy Secretary General, Alexander Volfovich, the State Secretary of the Security Council of the Republic of Belarus, and Vadim Sinyavsky, the Minister of Emergency Situations, supervised the trainings. The heads of the rescue agencies of the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, Russia and the Republic of Tajikistan, the CIS First Deputy Secretary General Leonid Anfimov, the Deputy Minister of Public Security of Vietnam Nguyen Van Long, and the Ambassadors Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary of the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic and Russia also watched the joint trainings.

The special training "Rock-2023" is being held for the first time on the territory of the Republic of Belarus and will be coordinated with the joint training of the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces "Interaction-2023" with a common management body - the Command of the Collective Rapid Reaction Forces.

In total, more than 630 people and 11 units of equipment took part in the "Rock-2023" special training of rescue units from the CSTO member states from 1 to 6 September.
