Today, the active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” concluded on the territory of the Republic of Kazakhstan.
During the “Conduct of combat operations” stage, two main training objectives are being practiced: the occupation by the national contingents of the CRDF CAR of the area of responsibility and the destruction of illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
The active phase of the joint exercise with the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CRDF CAR) “Frontier-2026” has begun at the Koktal training range in the Republic of Kazakhstan. During the exercise, the participating forces are practicing the preparation and conduct of combat operations to destroy illegal armed formations that have invaded the territory of a CSTO member state.
The CSTO Joint Staff held consultations on improving the organization and conduct of flights in the airspace of the Organization member states and international flights of aviation of the armed forces of the CSTO member states
On 13-14 April, at the CSTO Joint Staff, Representatives of concerned ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states, the CSTO Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat held consultations on the issue "Organization and performance of flights (transit) in the airspace of CSTO member states and international flights of aviation of the armed forces of the CSTO member states".
Lieutenant General Anatoly Yakovlev, Head of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) Planning Department, chaired the consultations with representatives of concerned ministries and agencies from the Republic of Armenia, the Republic of Belarus, the Republic of Kazakhstan, the Kyrgyz Republic, the Russian Federation, the Republic of Tajikistan, the CSTO Parliamentary Assembly Secretariat, the Joint Staff and the CSTO Secretariat.
In the course of consultations, proposals on amendments to the Agreement on the Status of formations of the CSTO Collective Security forces and means of December 10, 2010 and the Agreement on cooperation of the CSTO member states in transportation of military and other formations, their movable property and military goods of September 15, 2015 were reviewed, clarified and agreed upon.
At the end of the event Lieutenant General Anatoly Yakovlev noted that the consultations were fruitful, during the joint work we were able to discuss proposals on current areas of interest, to bring the positions of the parties closer, to agree and record the agreements reached.
