There was a thorough discussion of topical issues and prospects for the development of the situation in the field of CADN. The participants compared approaches to specific aspects of compliance with and strengthening of existing international treaties and agreements in this area.
In discussing selected topical issues, the importance of cooperation and active joint steps to counter attempts to use outer space as a “battleground” was emphasized, as well as the need to maintain human control over weapons systems using artificial intelligence.
Interest was confirmed to continue regular reconciliation of positions on the issues of the CADN in order to coordinate actions at specialized international platforms.
