On June 20, this year, in Minsk, a meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held under the chairmanship of Sergei Aleinik, Minister of Foreign Affairs of the Republic of Belarus, with the participation of Imangali Tasmagambetov, the CSTO Secretary General.
The heads of foreign ministries have exchanged detailed views on the international and regional situation, its impact on security in the Organization's area of responsibility and further steps to develop the CSTO's external relations.
At the end of the meeting, political statements were adopted on topical issues of the international agenda and a package of organizational documents aimed at improving the effectiveness of the CSTO activities was approved.
In accordance with the Protocol decision, the next meeting of the Council of Foreign Ministers of the Organization will be held in the fourth quarter of 2023 in Minsk.
