04.03.2026
On 4 March, Secretary of the Security Council of the Kyrgyz Republic Adilet Orozbekov presented certificates of advanced training in the field of “Information Security of Automated Systems” to civil servants.
The training was conducted as part of the preparation of specialists from the member states of the Collective Security Treaty Organization at the National Research Nuclear University MEPhI (Russian Federation).
In his remarks, Adilet Orozbekov noted that the digital sphere has firmly entered all areas of state life—from the economy and transport to education, healthcare, as well as defense and security—bringing not only new opportunities but also new challenges.
In this regard, within the CSTO system priority attention is given to ensuring information security through the development of collective protection mechanisms.
In this context, the Organization is implementing a series of operational and preventive measures as part of Operation PROXY aimed at countering the dissemination of information that harms national and allied interests. These include crimes related to electronic fraud, illicit drug trafficking, money laundering, illegal migration, trafficking in persons and weapons, as well as the distribution of malicious software and content containing pornographic elements.
In addition, in May 2025 Kyrgyzstan hosted the first CSTO International Conference on Cybersecurity, the materials of which made it possible to formulate clear priorities for the Organization’s further work.
In conclusion, Secretary of the Security Council Adilet Orozbekov wished the specialists of ministries and agencies not to stop at what has been achieved, to set ambitious goals, and to continuously develop their professional skills for the benefit of the prosperity and development of Kyrgyzstan and its people.
