Imangali Tasmagambetov highly praised Kyrgyzstan's chairmanship of the CSTO, noting its responsible and constructive approach. According to him, all the priorities outlined by President Sadyr Japarov a year ago have been successfully implemented.

The key outcome of the summit was the confirmation by the leaders of the member states of their commitment to the principles and goals of the CSTO, as well as the adoption of a package of documents aimed at strengthening collective security. The CSC meeting focused on discussing the military-political situation in the CSTO area of responsibility and growing hybrid threats.

As part of his review of the CSTO's three years of activity, the Secretary General highlighted a number of significant achievements:

Strengthening of collective forces: personnel numbers increased 1.8 times, reaching 30,000; the aviation group was strengthened.

Practical results of operations: during the anti-drug operation “Channel” in 2025, more than 8 tons of drugs were seized, and the operation “Illegal” contributed to the suppression of over 130,000 violations of migration legislation in 2024.

Development of military cooperation: large-scale trainings (“Interaction”, “Indestructible Brotherhood”, etc.) are held regularly, incorporating the latest combat experience.

Cybersecurity: the first international conference and cyber trainings of the CSTO were held, and coordination on countering cyber threats is being strengthened.

International cooperation: Roadmap for developing cooperation with the SCO and the CIS has been signed.

The Secretary General also commented on cooperation with Armenia. He reiterated that the CSTO respects Yerevan's sovereign right to determine the format of its participation in the Organization.
