Meetings between Talatbek Masadykov and UN Secretary-General António Guterres and his deputies are scheduled. The meetings are expected to address a wide range of current issues, in particular, peacekeeping and counter-terrorism.
On September 23, Talatbek Masadykov will take part in the traditional annual meeting of the foreign ministers of the CSTO member states, held on the sidelines of the General Assembly of the world organization.
CSTO Secretariat representative takes part in the round table “CSTO–SCO: Security Space”

On September 4 this year, a round table entitled “CSTO–SCO: Security Space” was held as part of the business program of the Eastern Economic Forum in Vladivostok. CSTO Secretariat representative Igor Panarin took part in the event.
A constructive exchange of views took place on the situation in the Eurasian space. The participants of the round table shared the view that cooperation between the CSTO and SCO on maintaining regional security and stability should be further deepened.
In his remarks, Igor Panarin emphasized the growing role of regional organizations in maintaining international security and stressed that, since its establishment, the CSTO has demonstrated an active interest in developing cooperation with the SCO.
The CSTO Secretariat representative also noted that a successful example of cooperation among regional organizations is the full implementation of the Roadmap for Cooperation between the CSTO, SCO and CIS for 2026–2028, signed by the Secretaries General of the three organizations in Beijing in September 2025.
Igor Panarin informed the participants that the range of challenges facing the CSTO in 2026 is changing the spectrum of tasks confronting the Organization. In this regard, in order to identify and respond to emerging challenges in a timely manner, it is advisable to implement the “CSTO–SCO+” Analytical Project as the foundation for a future Eurasian expert and analytical platform. Its key function is to transition from a reactive security model to a proactive one.
