Badalian with the Director of the European Directorate of the Political Department of the UN Secretariat L. Bilman, who oversees the department, in particular, the UN relations with regional organizations, including the CSTO.
The parties exchanged views on the situation on the Eurasian continent. Special attention was paid to the issues of early warning, crisis prevention and conflict resolution.
There was also a discussion of the state and prospects of relations between the UN and the CSTO in the field of political cooperation.
The sides stated the common approach to the issues discussed and the readiness to continue the development of interaction between the two Organizations.
