On December 5, 2024, at the CSTO Secretariat, the CSTO Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov met with the Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations of the Russian Academy of Sciences Fyodor Voitolovsky, Deputy of the House of Representatives of the National Assembly of the Republic of Belarus Alexander Shpakovsky and Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “National Defense” Igor Korotchenko.

On 2 December 2024, the 26th meeting of the Coordination Council of the Heads of Competent Authorities for Countering the Illicit Drug Trafficking of the Member States of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (hereinafter referred to as the CSTO CCBCD) was held via videoconferencing.

06.12.2018The Deputy Secretary General of the Collective Security Treaty Organization, who was at the invitation of the Ministry of Foreign Affairs and International Cooperation of Italy on a visit to Milan, took part in the 25th meeting of the Ministerial Council of the Organization for Security and Cooperation in Europe held there. Italy is currently chairing the OSCE.
A.Sultanov also participated in an informal meeting of foreign ministers of the CSTO member states on the sidelines of the meeting on December 6, during which the ministers exchanged views on the coordination of the positions of the CSTO member states on the agenda of the OSCE Ministerial Council. Other issues of mutual interest were discussed. The meeting adopted a joint Statement of the CSTO member states in support of the INF Treaty, which will be circulated as an official OSCE document.
