The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.
On June 19, 2025, in Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic, the XIX meeting of the Council of the Advisory Coordination Center of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on Computer Incident Response (CSTO CCC) was held, which was attended by delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for responding to computer incidents of the CSTO member states.
On June 24-26, the second staff negotiations were held in the Kyrgyz Republic on the organization and conduct an operational meeting with the Command of the Collective Rapid Deployment Forces of the Central Asian Region (CAR CRDF) and a command and staff training with units of the CAR CRDF "Rubezh-2025", conducted as part of the joint operational and strategic training "Combat Brotherhood-2025".
The CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation Business Council has discussed the development of cooperation and integration ties between enterprises and organizations of defense industries of the CSTO member States

On April 1, this year, a meeting of the Business Council of the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation of the Collective Security Treaty Organization was held under the supervision of Chairman of the Business Council Alexander Nozdrachev within the framework of the business program of the 3rd International Exhibition of Defense Technologies "ArmHighTech-2022" in Yerevan.
The Business Council was attended by heads and members of the national parts of the Business Council, members of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation on military-economic (technical) cooperation in the CSTO format, invited guests and representatives of the press corps.
The issue of using the production capacities of the enterprises of military-industrial complex of the Republic of Armenia was discussed, the perspective directions of development of cooperation with the enterprises of military-industrial complex of the CSTO member States were considered.
In his opening remarks, the Acting Minister of High-Tech Industry of the Republic of Armenia, Head of the Armenian National Part of the CSTO Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation David Sahakyan noted that cooperation in the issues of military-technical and military-economic cooperation in the CSTO format was of great importance for the Republic of Armenia. David Sahakyan expressed confidence that the issues discussed at the session would contribute to raising the level of military-economic and military-technical cooperation, development of cooperation and integration ties of enterprises and organizations of defense industries of the CSTO member States.
"I am glad to welcome you at the regular meeting of the Business Council of the CSTO Interstate Commission on Military-Economic Cooperation. I am convinced that today's meeting will lead us to elaborate additional mechanisms for CSTO cooperation. The year 2022 will mark the 20th anniversary of the Collective Security Treaty Organization.
The works conducted within the framework of the CSTO Intergovernmental Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation play an important role in ensuring and developing the security system of our countries, it also gives an opportunity to discuss with partner countries the reforms of the military-industrial system, the concept of development, the current situation in the region, problems and possible ways to overcome them," David Sahakyan said.
In turn, Mikhail Osyko, Chairman of the board of the Military-Industrial Commission of the Russian Federation on military-economic (technical) cooperation in the CSTO format, noted that the Business Council worked on promising areas of cooperation between enterprises of the military-industrial complex of the CSTO member States.
Representatives of the companies “ErNIISS” ZAO, Concern VKO “Almaz-Antey” AO, “NPK Uralvagonzavod” AO, “STC REB” AO, “NPK Techmash” AO, “OVK Bison” OOO (Russian Federation) and “Cherentsavan Machine-Tool Plant” AO (the Republic of Armenia) made presentations on the work being conducted.
The relevant protocol was adopted on the results of the meeting.
The next meeting of the CSTO the Interstate Commission for Military-Economic Cooperation Business Council will be held in October 2022 in Bishkek (the Kyrgyz Republic).
