On March 31, 2026, scheduled consultations on topical issues of arms control, disarmament and non-proliferation (CSTO) were held in Moscow at the CSTO Secretariat under the chairmanship of the Russian Federation. The event was attended by delegations of the CSTO member states, acting CSTO Deputy Secretary General Samat Ordabayev and other representatives of the Organization's Secretariat.
On March 30, a working meeting was held at the Secretariat of the Collective Security Treaty Organization (CSTO) between the Organization’s Secretary General, Talatbek Masadykov, and Igor Korotchenko, Editor-in-Chief of the magazine “National Defense” and a member of the Public Council under the Russian Ministry of Defense.
On March 26, 2026, at the CSTO Secretariat, a meeting was held between the CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Fyodor Voitlovsky, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) RAS. The event was the latest in a series of meetings between the CSTO Secretary General and representatives of the scientific and expert community of the Organization’s member states.
On March 26, 2026, a meeting of the International Headquarters of the CSTO regional operation “Illegal-2026” was held via videoconferencing.
From April 6 to 8 of this year, the Park Hotel “Ognikovo” (Moscow Region, Istrinsky District, Ognikovo settlement), the XXIII International Seminar-Conference on Mixed Martial Arts will be held with the heads of combat and physical training from the law enforcement ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states.

09.02.2026Via videoconference, on 9 February 2026 Deputy head of the department for countering challenges and threats of the CSTO Secretariat Sergey Gonchar took part in the regional round table “Objectives of United Nations Security Council resolutions in the field of counter-terrorism: best practices in the implementation of sanctions regimes in accordance with resolutions 1267 (1999)[1], 1989 (2011)[2], 2253 (2015)[3] and 1988 (2011)[4]», organized by the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Office and the United Nations Counter-Terrorism Centre, the Analytical Support and Sanctions Monitoring Team, with the assistance of the Republic of Uzbekistan and the United Nations Regional Centre for Preventive Diplomacy for Central Asia.
Within the session on regional cooperation, a representative of the CSTO Secretariat delivered a presentation entitled “Strengthening regional cooperation among CSTO member states in countering security challenges and threats.”
