From 6 to 8 April 2026, the 23rd International Seminar-Meeting on Comprehensive Combat with heads of combat and physical training of law enforcement ministries and agencies of the CSTO member states was held at the Ognikovo Park Hotel in the Istra District of the Moscow Region.

On March 26, 2026, at the CSTO Secretariat, a meeting was held between the CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov and Fyodor Voitlovsky, Director of the Institute of World Economy and International Relations (IMEMO) RAS. The event was the latest in a series of meetings between the CSTO Secretary General and representatives of the scientific and expert community of the Organization’s member states.
The participants held a thorough exchange of views on a wide range of pressing issues related to strengthening peace and stability in the CSTO area of responsibility. Particular attention was paid to contemporary non-military challenges – namely, issues related to ensuring water, energy, and food security.
In the context of prospects for cooperation between the CSTO Secretariat and the IMEMO RAS, discussions focused on the upcoming International Scientific and Practical Conference titled “The Outlines of a New Collective Security Architecture: Current Issues in the CSTO’s Information and Analytical Partnership,” which will be held on April 27 at MGIMO of the Russian Foreign Ministry.
