On July 4, 2025, a delegation of the CSTO Secretariat visited the Central Military-Patriotic Park of Culture and Recreation of the Armed Forces of the Russian Federation "Patriot".
The Kyrgyz President Sadyr Japarov received the Ministers of Foreign Affairs of the CSTO member states and the Secretary General of the Organization in Cholpon-Ata on June 30. The meeting was attended by the Foreign Ministers of Kyrgyzstan, Belarus, Kazakhstan, Russia and Tajikistan.
On June 30, 2025, a regular meeting of the CSTO Council of Foreign Ministers was held in Cholpon-Ata (the Kyrgyz Republic) under the chairmanship of the Kyrgyz side, which was attended by the Organization's Secretary General Imangali Tasmagambetov.
Safar Umarzoda, Head of the Department for Countering Challenges and Threats of the CSTO Secretariat, took part in a special event (side-event) on "Countering Radicalization leading to terrorism and Extremism" organized by the Russian Federation on the margins of the OSCE Annual Conference on Security Review, where he reported on the measures taken by the CSTO on countering terrorism and extremism, and willingness to share the experience gained.
On June 19, 2025, in Bosteri, Issyk-Kul region of the Kyrgyz Republic, the XIX meeting of the Council of the Advisory Coordination Center of the Collective Security Treaty Organization on Computer Incident Response (CSTO CCC) was held, which was attended by delegations of representatives of national authorized bodies for responding to computer incidents of the CSTO member states.
A meeting of the CSTO Defense Ministers Council Working Group on the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Collective Forces was held
On November 23, this year, a meeting of the CSTO Defense Ministers Council Working Group on the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) was held via videoconferencing.
The meeting was attended by representatives of the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics management bodies of the defense departments of the CSTO member States and Colonel General Anatoly Sidorov, Chief of the CSTO Joint Staff.
In the course of the meeting the issues of internal approval of the draft Provisions on material reserves to support the formations of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces), maintenance and updating of material reserves in the CSTO member States for the formations of the Central Asian region Collective Rapid Deployment Forces (CAR CRDF) and the CSTO Collective Rapid Reaction Forces (CSTO CRRF), as well as the procedure for transportation of personnel, weapons and military equipment of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) from one CSTO member State to another in an attack on the sovereignty and territorial integrity of a CSTO member State were considered.
The results of a special training with the assets of the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) "Echelon-2021", as well as the organization issues of training "Echelon-2022", planned in 2022 in the Republic of Kazakhstan have been discussed.
Particular attention was paid to the report by Colonel Dayyrkul uulu Aibek, head of the Main Logistics Directorate of the Ministry of Defense of the Kyrgyz Republic, on efforts to improve the nutrition of military personnel when performing tasks in high altitude conditions. The Defense Ministry of the Kyrgyz Republic tested a new version of a special dry ration, which included national kinds of marching food. It was decided to continue working on this topic as part of the research work "Coalition-MTO-22," which will open in 2022 at the Army General A.V. Khrulev Military Academy of Material and Technical Support in order to improve the system of Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics for the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces).
A regular meeting of the CSTO Defense Ministers Council Working Group on the Acquisition, Technology, and Logistics of the CSTO Troops (Collective Forces) is scheduled to take place in the Republic of Kazakhstan during a special training "Echelon-2022”.
