On May 19, 2026, an international round table on the topic “CSTO: together for strengthening international peace and stability” was held at the Hofburg Palace in Vienna, Austria, on the sidelines of the OSCE Forum for Security Co-operation in Europe.
On May 18, CSTO Secretary General Talatbek Masadykov, together with the heads of the diplomatic missions of the CSTO member states in Vienna, took part in a solemn wreath and flower-laying ceremony at the monument to the Soviet Liberator Soldier at Schwarzenbergplatz.

On 23 October this year, representatives of the CSTO Secretariat took part in an international scientific and practical conference entitled “The New World Order: Principles of Construction, Prospects and Challenges”, organized by the Anti-Terrorist Centre of the CIS Member States and the Moscow State Linguistic University.
During the conference, they made presentations on “The Role and Place of the CSTO in Countering Terrorism and Extremism” and “Ensuring Biological Security in the CSTO Space - a New Area of Cooperation among the Organization's Member States”.
